We get a lot of the same questions about scheduling, weather, access, and what’s included in our lawn care services. Depending on how much rain is received we may still be able to service the yard. If a considerable amount of rain is received, we will move your property to the next dry business day. Details about our weekly service are on our Lawn Care Services page.
On weekly service schedules we will make every effort to service your property the same day. However, we work in an outdoor environment with pop up rain showers and other unpredictable elements. With this in mind, there will be times when we will service your property the day before or after your normal scheduled day. Yes! We offer morning and afternoon service windows upon request.

We have a pre-notification system that sends out emails the day of or the business day before your property is scheduled. This will allow you to put away your dog or to unlock your fence.
In some cases it may adjust the way we do your yard, and there may be a small service fee adjustment. A great way to keep the cost down on your property is to request the fencing company put a gate that is at least 50 inches or wider. In most cases this allows us to mow the fenced in area with a larger mower.

Standard lawn maintenance typically includes mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup/blowing. If you have a specific request (fenced areas, gates, pet notes, etc.), let us know so we can service your property the right way. Service frequency depends on growth rate and what you want the property to look like. Weekly service is best during peak growing season and to ensure a well maintained lawn. Most clients want more than just cutting grass. Our routine service is designed to keep the lawn looking finished, which is why it typically includes mowing plus edging, trimming, and cleanup each visit.

Pre-emergent helps prevent weeds before they sprout. Post-emergent targets weeds that are already growing. Our turf programs use both at different times of year to keep weed pressure down. We break down our program approach on the Turf Management page.
Timing depends on weather and turf type, but pre-emergent applications are generally scheduled before weed germination periods. It depends on the specific treatment applied. When we perform lawn treatments, we can provide any watering instructions needed for that application.
